Ryden's first official pokemon game

We were lucky we found a mentor in the tournament room at Card Kingdom. I know this is just the beginning. Next week is world championships in San Diego. The mentor will be there along with many of the older kids and so he said the tournament room will be very quiet next week. They also have a "judge" on site during the game hours every Sunday from 3PM.
On another note, on Friday we made strawberry jam which Ryden promptly sold to the neighbors and made $6. The next day Ryden went to his first garage sale and scored on a bag of Spy Gear for $4. I thought he would be more excited about the mini trials bike (short seat and extended black front wheel posts for leaning on rocks included) selling for $5, but he was so decisive. I will have to get a photo up of him in all the regalia. It came with a motion sensor and sound sensor kit. The funny part is that the head set has a base station or another head set somewhere in the neighborhood because we are hearing music and conversation from Ryden's headset. It's a little creepy. We need to figure out who and where it is. Warning to parents doing garage sales; make sure you get all the components to what you are selling!
